Our luxurious villa, built on Calangute beach in Goa, is the ideal family sunshine destination with the sea just a short walk away…
Built in 1926, this beautiful Portuguese villa has been renovated to its former glory but with the addition of some modern comforts. The impressive private infinity swimming pool, which is exclusive to our guests, now makes Villa Alina a truly luxurious rental with a perfect balance between traditional Goan and modern living.

The four Heritage Rooms in the main house are beautifully furnished to reflect our antique ancestral furniture while the two Beach rooms have a more modern design. All six en-suite rooms are air conditioned.
The stunning rear veranda is the ideal setting for al fresco dining and hanging out with your guests. The perfect place to relax and it is just a few steps from the pool and Shanti space.
The Rooms
Villa Alina consists of The Main House and The Beach & Ocean Rooms. There are four large, air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms in The Main House that can sleep up to 10 guests (inc. one family room with a double and 2 single beds). The Beach & Ocean Rooms are 2 double en-suite AC bedrooms which will increase the group size to 14 guests. All rooms are rented together to one party.
The Veranda
The stunning rear veranda is the ideal setting for al fresco dining, overlooking the pool with a large table and seating for 16 people and more. There is nothing better than relaxing on the veranda on the antique bed swing, sourced from a Maharajah's Palace.
The Balcony
The perfect place to enjoy the famous Goan sunset is on The Balcony, accessed via a spiral staircase from the rear veranda. After a hard day at the beach and a wonderful warm shower, enjoy a sundowner whilst gazing at the stunning sunset - life is good!
The Infinity Pool
Our beautiful infinity pool, surrounded by coconut trees, has a large sunbed area and is for the exclusive use of the villa guests. A pool bar is situated next to the swimming pool. There is also a cabana for those pleasant afternoon naps. The dilemma is whether to relax around the pool or take the short walk to the beach!
The Shanti Space
The Shanti Space can be found at the end of the garden. Play some carrom, read a book, have a sleep or just watch your holiday unfold at Villa Alina.
Other Spaces
The villa has a fitted kitchen, granite worktops, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and water cooler. The lounge is located at the centre of the house complete with satellite TV, bluetooth speaker, sound system and DVD player facilities.
